Mrs. Olufunso Amosun anchored a two-day Uplifting the Environment International Conference and Workshop from the 23rd to 24th of April, 2013 in collaboration with the International Centre for Public Enterprises (ICPE). Members of the European Parliament, representatives from West African countries, wives of state governors in Nigena, eminent environmentalists like Dr. Newton Jibunoh; the then House Committee Chairman on Environment, Hon. Uche Ekwunife and environmental organisations like the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). Friends of the Forest, amongst others were in attendance.
